The price of a GPR concrete scan depends on the size and difficulty of the job rather than a single standard rate. This guide explains what drives the quote, so you can compare offers fairly and get an accurate price the first time.
What affects the price

Why a scan is cheap compared with the alternative
A scan is usually a small share of the total cost of a coring or cutting job. Hitting a post-tension cable, a conduit or a water pipe can mean stopping work, repairs, and in the worst case danger to the people on site. Scanning first removes most of that risk for a modest outlay.
How to get an accurate quote
Send us the following and we can prepare an accurate quote:
- The location of the site and the emirate.
- What you plan to do afterwards, such as coring, saw cutting or fixing anchors.
- The approximate area or number of spots to scan.
- The type of element, for example slab, wall, beam or column.
- Whether you need a written report as well as surface marking.
- Your target date.
Compare quotes on the same basis
When you ask several companies, check that each quote covers the same area, the same deliverables (marking, report) and the same working conditions. A low figure that leaves out the report or a second visit is not cheaper in the end.
